PayPal payment issue
We are aware of an issue with the PayPal integration that first occurred December 20 for a few hours and reoccurred today for approximately 4 hours. During the issue, a large number of payments failed. As far as we can tell so far, the issue is on PayPal's side and we cannot do anything about it. We have notified PayPal of the issue. On December 22nd, we have deployed countermeasures that lower the error rate significantly. The issue seems to be resolved on PayPal's end, no more errors have been seen since December 28th.
