Outage

Around 18:35 UTC (20:35 Berlin time), the network between our servers started experiencing issues caused by a problem at the data center. After 2 minutes of downtime, our system automatically switched to a different database server to restore availability. For the following hour, until approximately 19:37 UTC, the network continued to be unreliable. According to our monitoring data, almost 100% of page loads were successful, but various system functions such as adding productsto the cart or creating an order had a failure rate of up to 20-25%, such that customers had to retry one or two times until the selected action worked. In other words, purchasing tickets was possible at all times except for the ~2 minute downtime around 18:35 UTC, but with degraded user experience.

The network has recovered and systems continue to function normally.

Maintenance window

Dear pretix.eu customers and partners,

to perform a necessary upgrade to our database cluster, we need to announce the following maintenance window:

 from Thursday,    2026-07-03, 22:00:00 UTC
 to   Friday,      2026-07-04, 00:00:00 UTC

Within this window, we expect pretix to be unavailable for an total duration of up to two minutes. We announce the larger window only as a precaution in case there are unforseen issues.
