Between 03:35 and 03:49 UTC, functionality of the system was severely disrupted.
To keep your data safe, our systems apply a number of security updates at night automatically. During this process, our systems are configured to only automatically update programs deemed "safe" to update during operation. Unfortunately, a bug caused an update to be applied that should not have been applied without a restart of the server.
At 03:37, our team was alerted automatically about the issue, and at 03:40, an engineer responded to the alert. By 03:49, the situation was analyzed and the necessary restart performed manually. All systems are back to normal for now, we'll analyze the root cause of the unwanted update over the next days. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
