Recent incidents

Outage

At 12:07 UTC (14:07 UTC), our system started to have severe performance issues. Around 40% in requests resulted in timeouts and all other requests were answers very slow. Between 13:22 UTC and 13:44 UTC, we took the system offline to be able to research the cause better. At 13:44 UTC, we made the system available again with slightly better performance. After 13:55 UTC, the system fully recovered.

The root cause has been fixed. We'll follow up with a detailed post-mortem on https://pretix.eu/about/en/blog/ in the next days.

The system is recovering, we're looking further into the root cause.

The issue is still ongoing, the system is overloaded in a way that we do not understand yet, we are investigating further.

Our team has confirmed that an incident is currently impacting our system. We are now looking into solutions and will update this page as soon has we have relevant information to share.

Maintenance window

Dear pretix.eu customers and partners,

to perform a necessary upgrade to our database cluster, we need to announce the following maintenance window:

 from Thursday,    2026-07-03, 22:00:00 UTC
 to   Friday,      2026-07-04, 00:00:00 UTC

Within this window, we expect pretix to be unavailable for an total duration of up to two minutes. We announce the larger window only as a precaution in case there are unforseen issues.
